A one-bedroom apartment high in Pico House on Prospect Way, the quiet side of the Battersea Power Station estate, three minutes from the Northern line. Floor-to-ceiling glass frames the river, the power station chimneys and the city beyond, and a double bedroom, two bathrooms and a private balcony make it a considered base for one or two — with every bill contained in the rate.
What you get
The apartment is arranged over a single floor with herringbone oak throughout. The bedroom holds a double bed dressed in French linen with hotel-weight towels and opens to the same view as the living room; there are two bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and one with a bath, both in stone with backlit mirrors. The kitchen is integrated into the living space, and the balcony looks north across the Thames.
The kitchen is fully equipped for genuine cooking rather than reheating: hob and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine, with cookware, knives, crockery, glassware and cutlery to match. The living room has a smart television with Netflix and the other streaming services already signed in, and high-speed broadband runs throughout the apartment and is active the moment you arrive.
Battersea Power Station is the most complete of London’s new riverside quarters — the restored turbine halls hold shops, restaurants and a cinema, Battersea Park is a walk along the river, and the Thames path and river bus run to Westminster and the City. Its own Northern line station is three minutes from the door, putting Waterloo in nine minutes and the City in sixteen.

Reservations made directly with Prime Host may be cancelled without charge until 48 hours before check-in, and dates may be amended without charge within the same period subject to availability. Stays of 28 nights or more require 7 days’ notice by email. Reservations made through Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo are governed by that platform’s policy.
