The apartment
A two-bedroom apartment high on Wandsworth Road at Nine Elms, five minutes on foot from the Overground and a walk along the river to Battersea Power Station. A corner reception room with glazing on two sides, two bedrooms and two marble bathrooms — one with a freestanding bath — make it a considered base for a family or two couples travelling together, with every bill contained in the rate.
What you get
The apartment is arranged over a single floor. The principal bedroom holds a super king bed dressed in French linen with hotel-weight towels and has its own bathroom with a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower; the second bedroom takes a double and opens to the same outlook, giving a total capacity of four. The reception room turns the corner of the building, with a dining table for six at one end and a full kitchen behind it.
The kitchen is fully equipped for genuine cooking rather than reheating: hob and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine, with cookware, knives, crockery, glassware and cutlery to match. The living room has a smart television with Netflix and the other streaming services already signed in, and high-speed broadband runs throughout the apartment and is active the moment you arrive.
Nine Elms is the stretch of riverside between Vauxhall and Battersea Power Station, where the new quarter meets the older streets around Wandsworth Road and Larkhall Park. The Overground is five minutes from the door and the Northern line twelve, putting Vauxhall within six minutes, Clapham Junction within seven and the West End inside a quarter of an hour.

Reservations made directly with Prime Host may be cancelled without charge until 48 hours before check-in, and dates may be amended without charge within the same period subject to availability. Stays of 28 nights or more require 7 days’ notice by email. Reservations made through Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo are governed by that platform’s policy.
